Women’s Woodworking Week, March 6th-10th, 2023

This week-long class allows students to be able to safely explore the wood shop on a deeper level using both power and hand tools. Each student will build a butternut Shaker end table with a beveled top, tapered legs, mortise and tenon joinery, and a drawer. Students will learn how to bring rough sawn wood to a finished and beautiful state, incorporating a variety of tools, all the while becoming more comfortable in the wood shop.

Details:

  • Class tuition: $875.
  • The class will begin at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm each day.
  • Please bring your own lunch.
  • On campus lodging is available. On campus lodging includes a single room, shared bathroom and kitchen access. Boarders may arrive the evening before the class begins and depart the day after the class ends. Lodging cost is $100 per person, per night.   • $100 deposit required to register for a class. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the start of class. Participants are also welcome to pay in full at the time of registration.
