Intro to the Wood Shop, January 27th – 29th, 2023

This class will introduce you to the wood shop and a variety of power tools including the table saw, the chop saw, the jig saw and drills, and a medley of hand tools such as clamps, chisels, squares, and planes. You will also learn about the properties of wood. Each student will build a Shaker style bench utilizing the above tools to take home with them.

Details:

• Class tuition: $425.
• The class will begin at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm each day.
• Please bring your own lunch.
• Full payment is required to register for a class.
• On campus lodging is available. On campus lodging includes a single room, shared bathroom and kitchen access.
