Daily Schedule

Monday – Friday:

7am Breakfast and morning reflection/reading
8:15 Shop work begins
10-10:20am Tea Break
10:30 Shop Work
12:30 Community Lunch
1pm Contemplative Time
1:30 Shop Work
4:30 Work concludes
5:30 Dinner (6:30 on sailing days)

Saturday and Sunday:

Occasionally there are weekend events, but most of the time weekends are free time for apprentices.

Annual Calendar

Note: Apprentices are required to commit for the entire academic calendar.
Apprenticeship begins – usually on the Sunday closest to September 15
Thanksgiving Break – apprentices welcome to stay
Holiday break – 2 ½ weeks around Christmas and New Year’s – all apprentices must depart
Spring term begins – usually the Monday after New Year’s Day
Spring Break – one week in early/mid March – all apprentices must depart
Apprentice last day – usually the end of the first full week of June
